Amaryllis at Lomas de Lachay

I'm not sure which type of amaryllis this is. These scattered orange flowers were one of the few signs of plant life. As the winter goes on, this area will get more water from the fog, and will look a bit more alive.

Even though the area looks quite dead, there was plenty of bird life, with seedsnipe, dotterals, pipits, owls, and others present.
