These are lists of the birds and mammals I saw on the trip. There were no heard-only species recorded on the trip list as every bird that was heard was also seen somewhere. The dead Walrus does not count for the mammal list. Established introduced species are denoted by (I). Life birds are in blue bold, ABA birds are in regular bold. For some species, I have included the subspecies in parentheses.

If the ordering used for the birds seems a little unusual, it's because it is my own interpretation of current information about what the taxonomic order should be and incorporates the recent paper by Jarvis et al. (2014). See my TiF Checklist for more information.

The ABA and TiF both count 171 species, but there is a slight difference. The ABA list lumps Vega and American Herring Gull, but recognizes two Redpoll species. The IOC list additionally recognizes Red and Sooty Fox Sparrows as species for an IOC total of 172.
