[Australian Bustard]

Town Common Conservation Park, Townsville, Australia, October 15, 2009

We saw the bustard on the road as we were starting to leave Town Common. Immediately after, a Pheasant Coucal also appeared on the road. This came out fairly well for a photo taken though window glass, especially since I was well back in the bus. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the Coucal photos.
