[Connecticut Warbler]

Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba, Canada, June 10, 2006.

We heard this bird singing as we drove along. It continued to sing as we located the tree it was in and eventually spotted it. I had always thought of these as ground birds, but this one spent all of its time in the tree. It did walk instead of hop, but all of its walking was along branches.
