Greater Sand-Plover
The sand-plover was found the previous Thursday at Huguenot Park in Jacksonville. A group of us from Miami drove up on Sunday (May 17) to see it. I was glad to get some flight shots even though the quality suffered a bit. I'm not sure whether the birds flew because I approached, but decided to not attempt to approach it again. As a result, all of the photos are from a distance.
